Complete guide for managing your mosque's khutba sessions

1. Creating Your Account

    Go to Sign Up

    Click on 'Sign Up' in the navigation menu or visit the signup page directly.

    Fill in Your Information

    Enter your email address, create a secure password, and provide your name.

    Verify Your Email

    Check your email inbox and click the verification link to activate your account.

    Complete Your Profile

    After verification, you'll be redirected to complete your mosque registration and profile setup.

2. Creating a Session

You have two options for creating sessions: Quick Start for immediate sessions or Plan Session for scheduled sessions with full configuration.

Option 1: Quick Start (Start Session Now)

Use this option when you want to start a session immediately with default settings.

    Click 'Start Session Now'

    From your Mosque Dashboard, click the 'Start Session Now' button. This creates a session immediately with default settings.

    Review Default Settings

    A popup will show the default settings (title, speaker, language, duration, privacy). You can start immediately or change settings if needed.

    Start or Customize

    Click 'Start Now' to begin immediately, or 'Change Settings' to customize the session before starting.

Option 2: Plan a Session

Use this option when you want to schedule a session for later or customize all settings in advance.

    Navigate to Plan Session

    Go to your Mosque Dashboard and click on 'Plan a Session' or go to 'Sessions' in the menu and click 'Plan a Session'.

    Fill Session Details

    Enter the session title, speaker name, and optional description. Set the scheduled date and time if planning ahead.

    Configure Privacy Settings

    Choose visibility: Public (discoverable by everyone), Private (only mosque members), or Unlisted (accessible via direct link only).

    Set Audio Settings

    Enable audio generation if you want text-to-speech translation. Choose the target language for translation.

    Set Session Duration

    Set the maximum session duration (default: 30 minutes, max: 240 minutes). Individual recordings stop after 30 minutes and can be restarted.

    Save Your Session

    Click 'Plan Session' to create your session. You can start it immediately or schedule it for later.

3. Starting Recording and Using Live Session

    Access Your Live Session

    From your dashboard, click 'View Live' on an active session, or use 'Start Session Now' for immediate sessions.

    Allow Microphone Access

    When prompted, allow microphone access in your browser. This is required for recording the khutba.

    Start Recording

    Click the 'Start Recording' button. The system will begin transcribing and translating in real-time.

    Use Fullscreen Mode

    Click the fullscreen icon to display the transcription in fullscreen mode for better visibility during the khutba.

    Control Audio Player

    If audio generation is enabled, use the audio player controls to play, pause, adjust volume, or skip segments.

    Adjust Display Settings

    Use the settings menu to change font size, scroll speed, language display (source, translation, or both), and other viewing preferences.

    Stop Recording

    Click 'Stop Recording' when finished. You can pause and resume recording as needed during the session.

4. Managing Your Archive

    View Archive

    Go to 'Sessions' in your dashboard to see all your sessions, including completed ones.

    Access Session Details

    Click on any session to view details, statistics, and access the archived content.

    Delete Old Sessions

    To delete a session, open the session details and use the delete option. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the session and its data.

    Share Archived Sessions

    Use the share button to generate QR codes or links for sharing archived sessions with your community.

5. Prayer Time Settings

Configure prayer times and iqama delays. Prayer times are displayed on the TV app and mobile app.

    Open Prayer Settings

    In your dashboard menu, click 'Prayer Settings' to access the configuration page.

    Choose Calculation Method or Custom Angles

    Select a preset calculation method (e.g. Muslim World League, ISNA) for your region, or choose Custom to enter Fajr and Isha angles manually. The system may recommend a method based on your mosque's location.

    Asr Method and High Latitude Rule

    Set Asr calculation (Standard or Hanafi). For mosques above 48.5ยฐ latitude, choose a high latitude rule (e.g. Middle of the Night).

    Configure Iqama Delays

    Set the delay in minutes between athan and iqama for each prayer, or use fixed times instead of delays.

    Set Friday Prayer Time

    Enter the specific time for Jummah prayer, which may differ from the regular Dhuhr time.

    Location, Save and Preview

    Mosque location (latitude, longitude, timezone) in Mosque Information is required for calculation. Save settings and use the preview. Prayer times appear on the TV app and mobile app.

6. Announcements & News Ticker

Create announcements that scroll on the TV app and mobile app. Users see them on both platforms.

    Go to Announcements

    In your dashboard menu, click 'Announcements' to manage your ticker messages.

    Create New Announcement

    Click 'New Announcement' and enter your message. It will appear on the scrolling ticker.

    Choose Type and Priority

    Select the type (Event, Announcement, Info, Reminder) and priority (Normal, High, Urgent) to control how it appears.

    Schedule (Optional)

    Show immediately or schedule for later. You can set start and end dates for time-limited announcements.

    Preview and Save

    Use the ticker preview to see how it will look, then save. Announcements appear on the TV app and mobile app for your community.

1. Finding Live Sessions

  1. Browse Mosques

    Visit the 'Mosques' page to discover mosques offering live khutba sessions.

  2. Use QR Code or Link

    Scan the QR code or use the direct link provided by your mosque to access live sessions.

  3. View Live Sessions

    Click on a mosque to see their active live sessions and join in real-time.

2. Watching Sessions

  1. Select Your Language

    Choose your preferred language from the language selector to view translations.

  2. Follow the Transcription

    Watch the real-time transcription and translation as the khutba is delivered.

  3. Use Fullscreen Mode

    Click the fullscreen icon for a better viewing experience, especially useful for larger displays.

  4. Listen to Audio

    If available, use the audio player to listen to the translated text-to-speech audio.

3. Accessing Archived Sessions

  1. Find Archive Section

    On the mosque page, look for the 'Archive' or 'Past Sessions' section.

  2. Browse Past Sessions

    Browse through available archived sessions from the mosque.

  3. Watch Archived Content

    Click on any archived session to watch the full recording with transcription and translation.
